Talent For Cons is pleased to announce that Amanda Miller will be appearing at MegaCon (megaconvention.com) for their 2017 convention. MegaCon will take place May 25th through 28th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. From voicing Cherche and Sully, the knight nicknamed “The Woman to End All Men” in Nintendo’s Fire Emblem: Awakening, to filling bad guys with arrows as the Marvel superhero Kate Bishop/Hawkeye, and losing her ever-loving mind as Junko Enoshima and Toko Fukawa in the Danganronpa video game series, Amanda is best known for playing spunky, badass, and occasionally deranged heroines (and villains) in anime and video games. You can currently hear her as Sailor Jupiter in the Viz dub of Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal, as Boruto Uzumaki in Boruto: Naruto the Movie (and the forthcoming TV series), Mikage in Durarara!!x2, Menchi in Hunter x Hunter, and as Ride in Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans on Toonami. Other roles include Ibuki in Coppelion, Seiji Nomi and Megumi in Accel World, Takeru in Squid Girl, Hyperdimension Neptunia (as MAGES, Tamsoft, and C-Sha), BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma (Nine), and Sword Art Online (Yulier). Talent For Cons is pleased to announce that Beau Billingslea will be appearing at Lubbock-Con (www.lubbockcon.com) for their 2017 convention. Lubbock-Con will take place May 27th through 28th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock, TX. In the world of anime, Beau Billingslea has voiced a multitude of characters including Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop, Ogremon, Saggitarimon and Parrotmon in Digimon, Michael in Argentosoma, Seal Walrus in Wolf’s Rain, Gohei in Rurouni Kenshin, Dee Jay in Super Street Fighter II and many others,  He continues to voice The Fourth Raikage and Homura in the animated series Naruto which is currently airing its 13th season on Disney XD.  He voices Abraham Douglas in the soon-to-be released animated feature War Of The Worlds: Goliath (which won Best Animated Feature at the Los Angeles 3D Film Festival in 2012).  He has narrated several series on The History Channel including Suicide Missions, Hero Ships and Modern Marvels.  His video games include: Safari, Outlaws, Dynasty Warriors, Zino, Breakdown, Ace Combat 5, and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.  Beau appears as Captain Abbott of the S.S. Talent For Cons is pleased to announce that Chris Jai Alex will be appearing at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (www.c2e2.com) for their 2017 convention. C2E2 will take place April 21st through 23rd at the South Building at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. Chris Jai is horrible at bio’s but here goes… he came up in a creative house, born to a mother who was aspiring pop star And a comic book store owner, there were no shortage of Whitney Houston Records and X-men comics in the house. Open graduating Chris moved to NY to pursue a music career where he would produce music for an up and coming indie label, he later returned home to Lansing to start his own label was met with small time success.   Inspired by a film that reminded him of his childhood he relocated to Los Angeles, CA to pursue entertainment on a large scale.  Soon after his move he got a first shot in show business performing stunts on a horrible movie that was by far the roughest gig to date for the smallest check he’d ever received for anything… background included. The gig was a blessing in disguise.  It earned him a new appreciation for the business seeing how hard people worked to tell stories, it made him want go after his goals even more. To date he’s worked in all aspects of the business with credits on camera from film and tv; TURN “Titus”, 6 WAYS TO DIE “Frank Casper” opposite  Tom Sizemore, and Vivica A. Fox, along with various video game and animation voice work including STEVEN UNIVERSE “Lonely Blade”, THE BOONDOCKS “Catcher Freeman”  and legacy character “Tusk” from KILLER INSTINCT. Talent For Cons is pleased to announce that Keone Young will be appearing at Supercon Retro (floridasupercon.com/retro) for their 2017 convention. Supercon Retro will take place April 14th through 16th at the Miami Airport Convention Center in Miami, FL. Keone Young originally hails from the Hawaiian Islands. Born in the capital, Honolulu, he found at an early age the passion and love of the magic of theater. Introduced by teachers into the art of stagecraft Young loved building sets and designing lights. When there were a lack of actors willing to do small parts Producers and Directors would plead Young to do a walk on while he was on the stage crew. His first job was the waiter in Death of a Salesman at the Honolulu Community Theater. He also found himself in many chorus parts in musicals such as My Fair Lady and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with his high school mate Bette Midler. Catching the performing bug Young went on to California to enroll in the prestigious Pasadena Playhouse College of Theater Arts. He went on to do many stage roles in California and New York and regional theater at the Milwaukee Rep and Dartmouth Rep. He began working in TV and Films as well guided by his mentor Mako where Young worked at the first Asian American theater, East West Players, where Young became one of its featured members. TV in starting to promote diversity gave Keone a chance to do roles on the first Bill Cosby show, The Streets of San Francisco, Kojak, Police Story,etc. As each decade passed Young became more prolific and experienced in Television work and was a much asked for professional. He focused on versatility and skill to work in every market. Comedies such as The Jeffersons, Cheers, Taxi, Different Strokes, Golden Girls, Mike and Molly and Dramas such as NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues, Magnum PI, St Elsewhere, NCIS,True Blood, Sons of Anarchy, and his most well known Mr Wu in Deadwood. Maile Flanagan has voiced the lead in the hit cartoon NARUTO & NARUTO SHIPPUDEN for over 600 episodes, 40 video games and 5 movies. She also plays Principal Perry on Disney XD’s LAB RATS, LAB RATS:BIONIC ISLAND and LAB RATS:ELITE FORCE.  In in 2006 she won an Emmy (also nominated 2007) for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for “Jakers!
