Andi Gibson

On tour with Bob Dylan in utero, Andi Gibson was destined for a life in the arts.  With director Kenny Ortega, her acting career began at age 2 in music videos for Fleetwood Mac, and Olivia Newton John.  At 7, Andi’s singing career began, recording for Lorimar and Warner Brothers, she felt at home in the booth. The years brought more performing, finding Andi on stage behind Barbra Streisand, Roberta Flack and Chanté Moore.  Gibson sang at The House of Blues, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and The Staples Center.  Andi then performed in a doo-wop quartet at Universal Studios Japan.  She returned home, originating the role of Sister Mary Hope in the World Premiere of Sister Act: The Musical.  After 2 contracts at Universal Studios Hollywood, Andi toured Central America and the Caribbean as mezzo in a quintet aboard Celebrity Cruises.  Back on land, Gibson co-founded, managed and sang soprano for a cappella sextet, Simply Put.  Recording their album reminded Andi how much she missed the booth.  Then Andi got cast in Minnie’s Fly Girls at Disney.  After 5 years there, Andi closed the chapter on her park career to focus on staying in her first home, the recording booth.

Singing on Guitar Hero for Playstation 2 was Andi’s first foray into video games. But voiceover added Impa to her credits for Nintendo’s Zelda:  Breath of the Wild as well as many others in upcoming games.  Andi started VO with commercials and voices for LG, AT&T, Kraft, Skechers and Febreze.  She also voices characters in a web series, and animated feature coming soon.  Aside from the daily hustle of a Los Angeles VO actress and singer, Andi works toward releasing a solo album and teaches classes with her business partner at their studio.
