Patrick Pinney is an American actor who has performed in theatres in Europe and America, after arriving in Los Angeles he performed in a play portraying three different characters and a producer approached him and asked if he would like to do a show, it was a Hanna/Barbera Scooby Doo show and a turning point for Pat. He went from a serious stage actor to a voice actor who gets to do the same performance but in less time and with far greater benefits, nuff said, Pats a VO guy. He performed three characters in the Filmation show” Blackstar”, and continued to do various roles at Hanna/Barbera and then was Mainframe in the “GI Joe”, series and BoBo in “Tranzor Z”, and many characters on the “Alvin and the Chipmunks”, show. Pat was then cast as “Mighty Mouse”, in the Ralph Bakshi production of “The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse”, and subsequently performed with Brad Pitt in Bakshi’s “Cool World”. This was followed by a return to live action as Harry in “Harry and the Hendersons” and every animated Disney film from “Little Mermaid”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “Toy Story”, and his favorite part in all the Disney films, the Cyclops from “Hercules”. Pat is best known nowadays as “Painty the Pirate”, from “Spongebob Squarepants”, and for his impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger on “Robot Chicken”, along with “He-man”, “Ted Kennedy”, “ OJ Simpson”, and many other characters. Pat has also done numerous video games, including “ Stan”, from “Monkey Island”, and many TV voiceovers including several uses of his theme song from “Spongebob”. Pat is always ready to perform a rousing rendition of the “Spongebob” theme song.
